Peg Jewell developed her love for watercolor through
her beginnings in stained glass work. The play of light
and color led her to experiment with watercolor which
is now her preferred medium. She enjoys painting the unexpected
from interesting perspectives to unexpected combinations and emotion
provoking blooms of the spirit. She has found time spent in nature
taking photographs to be her most prominent muse. She has studied
under Gary Lennon at the Edmond Fine Arts Institute.
